Years ago, i have attended a few FX seminars, with the objective of learning more from the FX professionals. For one of the seminars, i paid $10 for 3 hours worth of forex course. Since it does not cost much, there is no harm attending.
What was supposed to be a 3hr session ended to be a long sales speech by the speaker. During the seminar, there was only 15mins of Forex Basics introduction. The objective of the seminar was to convince the 50 plus audience why it is worth paying $2999 each for 10 lessons on Forex, ask your spouse to join and couple price was $4999, join an exclusive membership club where you get trade signals for $299 for 3 months.
I never wanted to go for any FX seminar again.
Of course, i am not saying that all Forex Seminars are not worth going. Some forex classes have excellent content and prices are reasonable. There are FX instructors who charge less than $500 for 10 lessons as well.
In University, the cost for one module already costs more than $500, spending on forex classes may seem to be worth a go since it teaches you how to make money.
In my opinion, there are many good FX sources online where you can learn for free. The best way to learn is to be a student of the market, open a real account starting with a small amount, get ready to lose some money but you will learn better.
